Service Level Agreement
Last updated: 20 October 2026
This agreement is part of the Terms of Service. It applies to workspaces on a paid plan of the hosted service. It does not cover the Free plan or self-hosted installations.
Uptime commitment
Section titled “Uptime commitment”The service will be available at least 99.5% of each calendar month.
The service counts as available when the API at app.typefold.dev answers requests. Our
external monitoring checks it every 3 minutes from more than one region, and the public status
page at status.typefold.dev records every outage. Downtime runs
from the first failed check to the first successful one after it.
Monthly uptime is the minutes in the month, minus the minutes of downtime, as a percentage of the minutes in the month. Excluded time, below, does not count as downtime.
What is excluded
Section titled “What is excluded”- Maintenance announced on the status page at least 48 hours in advance.
- Outages caused by you, your content or your systems, or by use that breaks the Terms of Service.
- A workspace that is suspended, or that has reached a plan limit.
- Failures of third-party providers outside our direct control, such as content delivery, DNS, network and cloud providers, and general internet or ISP problems.
- Third-party services you connect to the service, such as your own storage destinations or webhook endpoints.
- Events beyond our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, war, or the failure of a public utility.
- Features we label as preview or beta.
Service credits
Section titled “Service credits”If monthly uptime falls below the commitment, you can claim a credit on that month’s plan fee:
| Monthly uptime | Credit |
|---|---|
| Below 99.5% | 10% |
| Below 99.0% | 25% |
For a yearly plan, the month’s fee is one twelfth of the yearly price.
Credits for a month add up to at most 25% of that month’s plan fee.
To claim, email legal@runecode.ee within 30 days after the end of the month, with your workspace name, the month, and the times of the downtime you saw. We confirm the downtime against our monitoring and the status page. We pay the credit as a partial refund of that month’s payment, through Polar, our merchant of record, to the payment method you used. Your plan must be paid up to date to claim.
Service credits are your only remedy for downtime, except where the law does not allow this to be limited, such as for gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
